Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate CDP to join our culinary team. As a CDP you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation and ensuring that the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment while contributing to a pub-style dining experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Support the cooking process by preparing sauces, garnishes, and other components as required.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food production.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, reporting any shortages to the Head Chef.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Uphold the standards of hospitality by ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly.
Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment essential; enthusiasm for culinary arts is key.
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients.
A willingness to learn and take direction from more experienced chefs, demonstrating leadership potential within the kitchen.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
